Goodwill currently has an opening for a Truck Driver for Collections.
Job Purpose: Responsible for picking up donations from ADC’s and transporting to retail locations and picking up bale and pull from stores and delivering to salvage locations. Responsible for all product movement from region to region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to three years of experience driving truck and good driving record required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and documents relating to transportation, which includes area maps. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Position requires the ability to push loaded carts containing up to 500 pounds of merchandise. Also required to use a lift to load and unload trucks.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a wide range of outside weather conditions ranging from very cold and windy to very hot.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
